§ 5-1407. Penalties, forfeitures or suits not affected
This act shall not affect a penalty or forfeiture incurred under any acts amended by this act, nor any suit or proceeding had or commended in a civil or criminal cause before this act takes effect, but the proceedings therein shall, when necessary, conform to the provisions of this act.
