§ 5-1319. Proceedings not voided for failure to give notice

No proceedings instituted by the city council in pursuance of a citation issued as provided in this subchapter nor any proceedings subsequent and pertaining thereto shall be void on account of failure to give notice to any person or persons interested therein, or for that reason be dismissed. Such proceedings shall be suspended until such person or persons are duly notified, whereupon the same proceedings shall be had in the same manner as if such person or persons are duly notified, whereupon the same proceedings shall be had in the same manner as if such person or persons had been duly notified by the original citation. If the person so notified shall appear, the person may be heard upon all matters therein pending in which the person may be interested.
