CHAPTER 285. VILLAGE OF WELLS RIVER
§ 285-23. Village and town residents; public office
The inhabitants of the village shall belong to and remain inhabitants of the town of Newbury. No person being a resident or taxpayer of the village shall be deemed thereby incompetent or disqualified to act as judge, justice, juror, sheriff, deputy sheriff, constable, police officer, or witness in any matter, cause, or proceeding brought under this act in which the village shall be interested. (Added 1937, No. 301 § 23.)
