CHAPTER 283. VILLAGE OF WATERBURY
§ 283-26. Street commissioner
The trustees may appoint and remove at any time, in their discretion by a vote of a majority of said board of trustees, a street commissioner, who shall hold his office one year or until removed by the trustees, and whose compensation shall be fixed by said trustees. Such street commissioner shall superintend the construction and repairs of streets, walks, culverts, drains, and street lamps, subject to the authority and direction of the trustees.
