CHAPTER 269. VILLAGE OF POULTNEY

Subchapter III. Officers

§ 269-308. Oath of office

All elected and appointed officials and all police officers of the village shall, before assuming office, take, subscribe, and file with the village clerk the following oath:

"I ________ solemnly swear (or affirm) that I shall faithfully execute the office of ______________ of the village of Poultney to the best of my judgment and abilities, according to law, so help me God (or I so affirm)."
