§ 203-402. Imposition of Forfeitures
The village may impose a forfeiture of not exceeding twenty five dollars for violation of any by-law. Such forfeiture may be recovered in an action of tort founded on this charter, brought in the name of the village; and in any such action a general complaint counting on the bylaws shall be sufficient.
