§ 1532. Settlement; disqualification for neglect
Annually, on or before February 1, the collector shall pay over all moneys collected by him to the treasuries to which they belong and settle his account with the treasurers. When he refuses or neglects so to do, he shall be ineligible to reelection for the ensuing year.
