§ 1812. Definitions
The following words and phrases, as used in this title, shall have the following meanings unless otherwise provided:
"Commissioner," the commissioner of public safety;
"Department," the department of public safety;
"Employee," an employee assigned to a position other than that of state police;
"Member," any employee of the department;
"State police," an employee assigned to police duties and law enforcement.
