§ 17. Collections

(a) The secretary may collect an unpaid administrative penalty by filing a civil collection action in any district or superior court, or through any other means available to state agencies.

(b) The secretary may, subject to 3 V.S.A. chapter 25, suspend any license, certificate, registration or permit issued pursuant to his or her authority for failure to pay a penalty under this chapter more than 60 days after the penalty was issued.
