§ 5507. Transfer to another juvenile court within the state

(a) If the child is domiciled in a territorial unit of the district court and a proceeding has been brought under this chapter in another unit the court, at any time prior to final disposition, may transfer the proceedings to the juvenile court of the unit of the child's domicile on its own motion or on motion of a party, for such further action or proceedings as the juvenile court receiving the transfer may deem proper. Like transfer may be made if the child changes his domicile pending a proceeding. A proceeding shall be so transferred, if the child has been adjudicated delinquent or in need of care or supervision or other proceedings involving the child are pending in the juvenile court in the territorial unit of his domicile.

(b) Certified copies of all legal and social documents and records on file with the clerk of court pertaining to the case shall accompany the transfer. (1967, No. 304 (Adj. Sess.), § 6; amended 1973, No. 246 (Adj. Sess.), § 4.)
