2005 Vermont Code - § 123. — Guardian or legal representative

§ 123. Guardian or legal representative

(a) If the commissioner finds that an applicant for or recipient of assistance is incapable of taking care of himself or his business affairs, the commissioner may direct the payment of the assistance to a guardian appointed by the probate court.

(b) If the commissioner finds that an applicant for or recipient of assistance is incapable of prudently attending to his business affairs, the commissioner may direct the payment of the assistance to the legal representative of the person appointed by the probate court.
