§ 4791. Tax bills delivered to treasurer

When a town or municipality within it votes to collect its taxes by its treasurer, the proper officers, unless otherwise voted, shall make and deliver all tax bills to the treasurer of the municipality so voting, and such treasurer shall keep separate accounts of all moneys received as highway or school taxes and pay out the same upon orders of the proper officers.
