§ 3944. Effective date

The provisions of this subchapter shall take effect on July 1, 1961, provided however, that prior to said date the majority of the legal voters of a town or city present and voting on the question at any annual meeting, duly warned for that purpose, may vote to abolish the quadrennial appraisals of real estate in their town or city at an earlier date.
