2005 Vermont Code - § 1144. — -Compensation of appraisers

§ 1144. -Compensation of appraisers

An appraiser appointed in accordance with the provisions of chapters 181 and 183 of this title shall receive $4.00 a day and his necessary expenses shall be paid by the state on the certificate of the judge of probate. But in cases requiring the appointment of an expert, the judge of probate may allow such further sum as he deems reasonable.
