2005 Vermont Code - § 544. — Judge may pay witnesses

§ 544. Judge may pay witnesses

The judge or clerk of each district court shall pay from any fines and costs in his hands belonging to the state all juror and witness fees payable by the state and shall take the receipts of persons receiving the same. (Amended 1965, No. 194, § 10, eff. July 1, 1965, operative Feb. 1, 1967.)
