§ 508. Receipts given by state officers
State officers, except county clerks and district judges, and every person in the employ of the state under salary or per diem established by statute, receiving money belonging to or for the use of the state, shall give the person paying such money a receipt therefor in such form as shall be prescribed by the state treasurer.
