§ 473. Expenses of inquests and criminal proceedings before magistrates

The expenses of inquests and criminal proceedings before magistrates shall be embraced in one account and allowed to the magistrate before whom they were had, who shall be responsible therefor to any person entitled to a portion thereof. No property of a magistrate shall be exempt from an execution issued on a judgment obtained in an action against such magistrate for wrongfully withholding any portion of the fees allowed to him.
