§ 1158. Discharge or release
A student admitted to the Weeks School who is in the custody of the commissioner of corrections or the commissioner of social and rehabilitation services shall remain at the school until:
(1) He attains the age of majority; or
(2) In the professional judgment of the commissioner, he is no longer in need of residential treatment, and a suitable alternative placement has been arranged jointly by the commissioner and the person having legal custody of the child. The alternative placement may include another institution or facility, a group or foster home, the parent or guardian of the child, or other aftercare program. (Added 1973, No. 232 (Adj.
