2005 Vermont Code - § 2805. — Penalty and enforcement

§ 2805. Penalty and enforcement

(a) A person found guilty of violating sections 2802 or 2804 of this title shall be fined not more than $1,000.00 or imprisoned not more than 30 days, or both, for each occurrence.

(b) In addition to the power of criminal enforcement, the attorney general or a state's attorney may bring a civil action to restrain continuing violations of this section. (Added 1983, No. 230 (Adj. Sess.), § 1.)
