§ 1709. Functioning of board of optometry
(a) Annually, the board shall meet to elect a chairperson, vice chairperson and a secretary.
(b) Meetings may be called by the chairperson and shall be called upon the request of any other two members.
(c) Meetings shall be warned and conducted in accordance with chapter 5 of Title 1.
(d) A majority of the members of a board shall constitute a quorum for transacting business, and all action shall be taken upon a majority vote of the members present and voting.
(e) [Deleted.]
(f) Each board member shall receive as compensation the sum of $30.00 per day for each day of services rendered while in the performance of his or her duties and shall be reimbursed for all actual traveling and incidental expenses necessarily incurred in carrying out those duties.
