§ 1314. Illegal practice
(a) A person who, not being licensed, advertises or holds himself out to the public as described in section 1311 of this title, or who, not being licensed, practices medicine or surgery as defined in section 1311 of this title, or who practices medicine or surgery under a fictitious or assumed name, or who impersonates another practitioner or signs a certificate of death for the purpose of burial or removal, shall be imprisoned not more than three months or fined not more than $200.00 nor less than $50.00, or both.
(b) An action shall not be maintained by such person for the recovery of compensation for such services.
