2005 Vermont Code - § 1162. — Prohibition; enforcement

§ 1162. Prohibition; enforcement

(a) No person shall engage in the practice of professional engineering unless he is licensed under or exempt from this chapter. A person found guilty of violating this section shall be fined not more than $1,000.00 or imprisoned not more than 30 days, or both, for each occurrence.

(b) In addition to the power of criminal enforcement, the attorney general or a state's attorney may bring a civil action to restrain continuing violations of this section. (Added 1983, No. 188 (Adj. Sess.), § 2.)
