2005 Vermont Code - § 5-1121. — Limitations

§ 5-1121. Limitations

The credit of the city shall not be pledged, except in the manner herein provided, and the city council shall not expend in any year a sum of money in excess of the revenues of the city for that year or increase the indebtedness of the city, except, as provided by this charter.
