2005 Vermont Code - § 413-504. — Warnings required

§ 1-504. Borrowing

In the event the board, in its discretion determines that additional funds are needed to carry on the management of the department during those periods when the revenues are not sufficient to support the department, then the board, through the city council, is authorized to borrow funds in anticipation of those revenues. The council does not need authorization from the voters if the borrowing is in anticipation of revenues.
