2005 Vermont Code - § 5402. — Definitions

§ 5402. Definitions

As used in this chapter:

(1) "Commission" means the Vermont municipal land records commission created in section 5403 of this title.

(2) "Municipal" means a city, town, unorganized town, incorporated village, or gore.

(3) "Municipal land record" means a document required to establish marketable title and which is filed or recorded in the records of a municipality, including all documents filed or recorded pursuant to section 1154 of this title. (Added 2003, No. 122 (Adj. Sess.), § 78a.)
