§ 5401. Statement of purpose

Municipal land records are of vital importance to the economy and history of Vermont. This chapter establishes a municipal land records commission to address the significant long-term and systemic managerial issues associated with these documents, including a study to determine whether paper documents should be stored and available in an electronic format. (Added 2003, No. 122 (Adj. Sess.), § 78a.)
