2005 Vermont Code - § 4414. — Zoning; permissible types of regulations

§ 4414. Approval of plats

Before any plat is approved, a public hearing on such plat shall be held by the planning commission or the development review board after public notice. A copy of such notice shall be sent to the regional planning commission, if any, of which such municipality is a member, and to the clerk of an adjacent municipality in the case of a plat located within five hundred feet of a municipal boundary at least fifteen days prior to the public hearing. Before holding such public hearing on a plat, the planning commission or the development review board may hold one or more preliminary hearings and grant preliminary approval to authorize the preparation of the plat for such public hearing.
