§ 2245. Incinerators, sanitary landfills, etc., excepted

The provisions of this subchapter shall not be construed to apply to incinerators, sanitary landfills, or open dumps wholly owned or leased and operated by a municipality for the benefit of its citizens, or to any private garbage dump or any sanitary landfill which is in compliance with section 2202 of this title and the regulations of the secretary of human services. (Added 1969, No. 98, § 1; amended 1971, No. 36, § 2, eff. April 1, 1971.)
