§ 2233. Ordinance effective, when

Such ordinance shall become effective when approved by a majority of the legal voters of the town present and voting on the question at a regular or special meeting thereof duly warned for the purpose. The ordinance shall be effective in cities and incorporated villages when established as provided for by the adoption of an ordinance in the charter thereof.
