§ 71b. Courthouse security
The assistant judges and the county sheriff shall jointly agree and shall be responsible for employing or contracting with a sheriff, sheriff's department or any other person or with any other entity employing persons who have been certified by the criminal justice training council pursuant to section 2358 of Title 20 to provide court security services in county courthouses. Compensation shall be provided by the court administrator's office at a rate jointly approved by the assistant judges and the court administrator with the person or entity providing the security services.
