§ 603. Witnesses, oaths, books, papers, records
(a) So far as it is necessary in his examinations, investigations and in the determination of matters within his jurisdiction, the commissioner shall have power to subpoena witnesses, administer oaths and to demand the production of books, papers, records and documents for his examination.
(b) The superior court, a justice of the supreme court or a superior judge shall have power to enforce by proper proceedings the attendance and testimony of witnesses and the production and examination of such books, papers, records and documents before such commissioner, and in the case of a corporation, the provisions of sections 441-444 of Title 11 shall apply.
