2005 Vermont Code - § 3156. — Additional training

§ 3156. Additional training

Nothing in this chapter shall prohibit any state, municipal, or county fire department or a privately organized fire department from requiring basic levels of training or additional fire service training which exceed the requirements of this chapter. The chief fire service training officer shall grant certificates of completion to firefighters who complete such training, provided that the course is approved by the council.
