2005 Vermont Code - § 1218a. — Single lot subdivisions
§ 1218a. Single lot subdivisions
For purposes of this chapter, "single lot subdivision" means dividing a parcel of land so that one, and not more than one, parcel of less than ten acres is created during the period of two years ending with that act of subdivision. If, upon the act of division, there exists a newly created parcel and a remaining original parcel, both of which are less than ten acres in area, both shall be considered single lot subdivisions; however, any further division of either of these two parcels shall be eligible for classification as a single lot subdivision only after the expiration of four years. (Added 1983, No. 117 (Adj. Sess.), § 4.)
