§ 1655. Realty taken on execution may be sold
(a) When it appears that such sale will be beneficial to all persons interested in such real estate, the probate court may grant license to an executor or administrator to sell real estate taken by the executor or administrator on execution or held by him under a mortgage, although not necessary for the payment of debts, legacies or charges of administration.
(b) Such license shall be granted under the same regulations as provided in this chapter for the sale of other real estate.
