2005 Vermont Code - § 964. — Liability for debts

§ 964. Liability for debts

Such special administrator shall not be liable to an action by a creditor or to pay any debts of the deceased. With the consent of the probate court, he may pay the expenses of the last sickness and the funeral expenses of the deceased and any bills against the estate of the deceased of his own contracting.
