§ 464. -When administrator to redeem; widow's rights
The administrator shall pay such mortgage either from the personal estate, if that is sufficient, or by a sale of real estate as provided by law, if it is for the benefit of those interested in the estate to redeem the premises. If there is sufficient personal estate to pay the mortgage, the probate court, in its discretion, may decree that a third of the whole of the lands mortgaged be set out to the widow.
