§ 6246. Remedies for illegal evictions

(a) Any resident who sustains damage or injury as a result of an illegal eviction, as defined in section 6245 of this title, may bring an action for injunctive relief, damages, costs and reasonable attorney fees.

(b) A court may award reasonable attorney fees to the park owner if, upon motion and hearing, it is determined that the action was not brought in good faith and that the action was either frivolous or intended solely for harassment. (Added 1993, No. 141 (Adj. Sess.), § 9, eff. May 6, 1994.)
