§ 644. Vermont film corporation; purpose; creation

A nonprofit public corporation to be known as the Vermont film corporation is established. The corporation's purpose shall be to promote the state of Vermont as a location for commercial film and television production and to facilitate the participation of local individuals and companies in such productions. The corporation shall be attached to the department of tourism and marketing for administrative purposes and shall be an instrumentality of the state. The commissioner of tourism and marketing is authorized to contract with a private nonprofit corporation to implement the objectives of the corporation. (Added 1995, No. 190 (Adj. Sess.), § 7.)
