§ 1466. Exceptions

Nothing in sections 1461-1465 of this title shall be construed to apply to the transportation of domestic animals through the state, nor shall it apply to horses that are driven into and out of the state on business or pleasure. This exemption shall not apply, however, if such animals remain in the state for more than 48 hours. (Amended 1991, No. 153 (Adj. Sess.), § 5, eff. May 5, 1992.)
