2005 Vermont Code - § 603. — Functions

§ 603. Functions

The joint energy committee shall:

(1) carry on a continuing review of all energy matters in the state and in the northeast region of the United States including energy sources, energy distribution, energy costs, energy planning, energy conservation and pertinent related subjects;

(2) at least annually report to the general assembly the results of its deliberations;

(3) work with, assist and advise other committees of the general assembly, the executive and the public, in energy related matters within their respective responsibilities. (Added 1977, No. 123 (Adj. Sess.), § 1, eff. Feb. 17, 1978.)
