Unless specifically authorized by statute, a defendant shall not be required to pay court costs in a criminal case as:

Unless specifically authorized by statute, a defendant shall not be required to pay court costs in a criminal case as:
- (1) a part of a sentence; or
- (2) a condition of probation or dismissal.
