62A-4a-601. Definitions.
For purposes of this part:
  • (1) "Child placing" means the same as that term is defined in Section 62A-2-101.
  • (2) "Child-placing agency" means the same as that term is defined in Section 62A-2-101.
  • (3) "High needs child" means a child:
    • (a) with an attachment or trauma-related disorder;
    • (b) who suffered from prenatal exposure to alcohol or drugs;
    • (c) who is the subject of an intercountry adoption;
    • (d) who was previously adopted; or
    • (e) who is in foster care.
