10-2-607. Notice of election.
If the county legislative bodies find that the resolution or petition for consolidation and their attachments substantially conform with the requirements of this part, the county legislative bodies shall publish notice of the election for consolidation to the voters of each municipality that would become part of the consolidated municipality:

10-2-607. Notice of election.
If the county legislative bodies find that the resolution or petition for consolidation and their attachments substantially conform with the requirements of this part, the county legislative bodies shall publish notice of the election for consolidation to the voters of each municipality that would become part of the consolidated municipality:
- (1)
- (a) at least four weeks before the day of the election, by posting one notice, and at least one additional notice per 2,000 population of the municipality, in places within the municipality that are most likely to give notice to the voters in the municipality; or
- (b) at least four weeks before the day of the election, by mailing notice to each registered voter in the municipality;
- (2) on the Utah Public Notice Website created in Section 63A-16-601, for at least four weeks before the day of the election; and
- (3) if the municipality has a website, on the municipality's website for at least four weeks before the day of the election.
