Section 103 - Number of district judges.

78A-1-103. Number of district judges.
  • (1) The number of district court judges shall be:
    • (a) four district judges in the First District;
    • (b) 14 district judges in the Second District;
    • (c) 31 district judges in the Third District;
    • (d) 13 district judges in the Fourth District;
    • (e) except as provided in Subsection (2), six district judges in the Fifth District;
    • (f) two district judges in the Sixth District;
    • (g) three district judges in the Seventh District; and
    • (h) three district judges in the Eighth District.
  • (2) If the number of juvenile court judges in the Third Juvenile District, as described in Section 78A-1-104, is decreased to nine, the number of district court judges in the Fifth District is increased to seven.
