Effective 7/1/202053B-2a-104. Utah System of Technical Colleges Board of Trustees powers and duties.
- (1) Except as provided in Subsection (2), the Utah System of Technical Colleges Board of Trustees is vested with the control, management, and supervision of technical colleges in a manner consistent with the policy and purpose of this title and the specific powers and responsibilities granted to the board of trustees.
- (2) Beginning on July 1, 2020:
- (a) the Utah System of Technical Colleges Board of Trustees no longer has duties or authorities; and
- (b) in accordance with Title 53B, Chapter 1, Part 5, Transition to Utah Board of Higher Education, the Utah Board of Higher Education assumes all statutory powers, duties, authorities, and budgetary authority of the Utah System of Technical Colleges Board of Trustees.
