2006 Utah Code - 70C-8-201 — Applicability.

     70C-8-201.   Applicability.
     This part applies to all creditors subject to this title and to all parties having an office or place of business in this state which take assignments of and undertake direct collection of payments from or enforcement of rights against debtors arising from consumer credit transactions. Except where otherwise indicated, depository institutions as defined in Section 7-1-103 which are regulated as such by the state of Utah or the United States are exempt from this part.
