2006 Utah Code - 53A-25-304 — Duties of council.

     53A-25-304.   Duties of council.
     (1) The council shall make recommendations to and advise the superintendent of the schools, the state superintendent of public instruction, and the board with respect to the continued employment of the superintendent of the schools, staff positions, policy, budget, operations, and other duties as assigned by the board.
     (2) The board shall receive and consider the recommendations and advice of the council, but the board does not have to follow that advice or adopt the  recommendations.
