     53A-25-303.   Council meetings -- Officers.
     (1) (a) The council shall meet at least ten times each year.
     (b) Each member shall be notified of a scheduled meeting at least two days prior to the meeting.
     (2) (a) The council shall elect a chair and vice chair from its membership.
     (b) The council may elect other officers from its membership.
     (c) Council officers shall serve one-year terms.
     (3) The board shall assign a staff member from the State Office of Education, and the superintendent of the Schools for the Deaf and the Blind to act as liaisons between the board and the council.
    
     (4) A majority of the council constitutes a quorum for the transaction of business.
