2006 Utah Code - 48-2c-111 — Designated office.
48-2c-111. Designated office.Each domestic company shall continuously maintain in this state a designated office where the records required by Section 48-2c-112 shall be maintained. The designated office may, but need not be, a place of business in this state. The designated office shall be at a specific geographical location in this state and be identified by number, if any, and street or building address or rural route or other geographical address. The designated office shall not be identified only by post office box number or other nongeographic address. However, for purposes of communication by mail, the division may permit the use of a post office address in conjunction with the geographic address. In all cases where a domestic company fails to identify or designate its designated office, the designated office for that company shall be its registered office in this state.
