     17A-2-751.   Notice -- Contest -- Time for hearing.
     (1) The court shall fix the time for the hearing of the petition and shall order the clerk of the court to give and publish notice of the filing of the petition.
     (2) (a) The notice required under this section shall be published once a week for three consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the county or, if the district is located in more than one county, in the counties in which the district is located, with the last publication being at least one week before the date set for the hearing.
     (b) The notice shall state the time and place fixed for the hearing of the petition and the prayer of the petitioners, and that any person interested in the organization of the district, or in the proceedings for the issue or sale of the bonds, or in the making of contract with the United States, may, on or before the day fixed for the hearing of the petition, answer the petition.
     (c) The petition may be referred to and described in the notice as the petition of the board of trustees of _______ irrigation district (giving its name) praying that the proceedings for the issue and sale of the bonds of the district, or that the proceedings for the contract with the United States, or the proceedings had for the organization of the district and the validity thereof, be examined, approved and confirmed by the court.
